Drew worked for several top BPO companies in the Philippines, such as Accenture, Microsoft, and Curo Teknika, which helped him acquired and developed leadership skills. He was first promoted to Junior Supervisor and, eventually, to Senior Supervisor and Associate Manager later on. He served as Assistant Operations Manager for Microsoft and Service Delivery Manager and Service Delivery Head for Curo Teknika. His combined skills and experience in customer service, sales, and technical and help desk support contributed to the companies he worked for. Due to his exceptional abilities, it was no wonder why he was chosen to be the Country Manager for DForce Operations Center Inc.
When the start-up offered this massive opportunity in 2019, Drew was hesitant at first. Still, he remembered a quote by Richard Branson, “If somebody offers you an amazing opportunity, but you are not sure you can do it, say yes—then learn how to do it later!” He believed everything in life is a challenge, and it is up to the individual how they would accept and overcome it. So, though he had doubts, he faced this enormous challenge head-on.
Drew was very hands-on in building the company—from looking for office space, getting contractors for the renovation, understanding the technology infrastructure, stating the legalities and registering the business, working on the financial aspects, to hiring the right people. Together with four people in the Core Team, he was able to launch DForce with just five representatives in the Sales Team. After several months, Drew was slowly able to expand the company with new departments and teams. DForce now has more than 70 employees and is still growing!
Although Drew works hard, he believes in a work-life balance. He also pushes his people to work their most challenges but encourages them to enjoy life outside work. In his spare time, he spends time with his beloved mom, enjoys shopping for clothes and bags, and goes to the beach to unwind and relax.
